What is a marketing retainer?

Creating a good website is the first step to getting your business or organization running. But how do you continue to grow after you have set up a good site? Some of the most important things you can do are grow your email list, continue to stay in touch with people who are interested in your work, and provide long-term value for your clients and followers.

It can be challenging to do this without automated processes and reliable marketing and creative support. For example, here are a few examples of some ongoing needs you might have:

  • Your business is expanding, and you need to build more pages on your website.
  • You want to host virtual events, but you need production support.
  • You want a brainstorming partner to plan a marketing funnel and corresponding email sequences.
  • You are ready to set up an online store on your website.
  • You’d like to create and automate a monthly newsletter or regular blog posts.

If you’re facing needs like this, we can support you! We work with many clients on a monthly retainer basis to help them develop a project management system for their business, plan their marketing strategies, automate communications, host events, and lots more. We’ve found that this kind of support often helps organizations level up their work by providing marketing expertise and removing the technical and backend barriers to their projects.

Getting Started with a Marketing Retainer

With a monthly retainer, you’ll determine how many hours you'd like our team to reserve each month to work on your projects. You'll pay a flat monthly fee for these reserved hours. As a retainer client, we can get to your projects quickly and routinely since we'll regularly schedule blocks of time to complete the projects you assign us. Retainers begin with a 3-month minimum contract.
